The bride has agonized over how to answer this question - semi-formal, formal, whimsical, romantic, black tie optional, dressy - she has nightmares surrounding these terms. The best she can do is tell you that she wants you to feel your most beautiful (unless you feel your most beautiful in white - then you'll just have to deal with feeling slightly less beautiful for the day). Don't shy away from that dress you want to wear because it's "too much." That print is not "too loud." Wear the bow-tie and the suspenders. More is more. If less is more for you, perfect - chase your bliss. If it helps, the theme is Enchanted Autumnal Forest. Think Lothlorien. If this in fact confused you further, the bride apologizes but is also glad that she is not alone in this feeling.
While the bride and groom know it would be the most epic slumber party ever if you could all crash at the venue with them, rooms at Curry Estate are limited. As such, they are reserved for close family and wedding party. If the bride and groom have blocked a room under your name, they will let you know separately. Information on other accommodations and hotel blocks in the area will be listed under the Travel section.
The bride and groom wish they could keep the open bar going all night, but alas! They spent their after-party budget on botanic Lego sets. Please prepare for a cash bar. Good news is, the after-party is on the premises, so you'll save an Uber fare!
Start pulling straws to decide who's DDing for the night! No Shuttle service will be provided for the Welcome Soiree at Newburgh Brewing Co. on 10/18. Parking is available for all who plan to attend. Parking is available on the premises of Curry Estate for anybody who wishes to drive themselves to and from the Ceremony and Reception on 10/19. If you don't plan on driving, fill up your flask! The bride and groom will provide Shuttle transportation to and from the Hampton Inn Fishkill and the venue. For more information on hotel blocks and the Shuttle, please visit the Travel page of this website.
