Keith attended Malvern Prep high school, an all boys school in Malvern, PA. Lily attended Notre Dame Academy, an all girls school in Villanova, PA. Lily and Keith had mutual friends going into Freshman year of high school and their paths eventually crossed when each of their friend groups formed together. It wasn’t until summer going into Sophomore year when Lily and Keith got closer and grew to know each other more. As time went on and they realized how much they cared for each other, Keith made it official on October 21, 2016. Keith and Lily have been together ever since that October day in 2016. They graduated high school in 2019, and Keith went off to play football at Clemson University, while Lily stayed local at St. Joe’s University. The couple endured 4 years of long distance, never wavering in love but only growing deeper for each other. Lily attended Keith's home games at Clemson, and Keith would visit her at St. Joe's any time he could. They both graduated college in May of 2023, moved back home to Newtown Square, PA, and got engaged that summer!

During the summer of 2023, after almost 7 years together, Keith knew he was ready. He had been saving up since his freshman year at Clemson to be ready to propose to Lily right after they both graduated college. On July 22, 2023, Lily and Keith were on the beach with Keith's entire family for a wiffle ball game. This was the second year of the wiffle ball game, and the prior year Lily had hit the walk off home run, so she was ready to compete again. Lily’s mom decided to come watch this year, but Lily thought nothing of it. Her sister, Brenna, and her sisters boyfriend, Darryl, had been there the year prior, so them being there again this year was not out of the ordinary. In fact, Brenna had no idea what was coming, no one did besides a select few! Keith picked Lily to be on his team, and very strategically picked her to bat before him in the batting order. During the third inning, Lily and her team were down 2-1. As Lily’s turn approached to be at bat, she was locked in and determined to help tie the game. As she got up to bat, she hit her bat on the plate (which was a beach chair) a few times then took her stance. As she did so, behind her Keith had reached into the back of the beach chair where he had been storing the ring! As Lily stood there waiting for the pitch, Keith slowly walked in front of her and got down on his knee and asked Lily to marry him. Lily was so shocked and fell into his arms and said YES!!! Everyone began to chant and pick Lily up, as both Lily and Keith's Dad's approached with champagne from a hidden spot on the beach. The rest of the day and night was spent in excitement, love, and celebration!
