It was chosen mostly due to budgeting purposes, and availability! We also hope to encourage you to take a nice four day weekend and stay the night at one of our affiliated hotels. Don’t worry, you can throw us under the bus to your boss!
Formal, black tie optional, no white dresses. Floral prints and bright colors are appreciated! We'd love to see lots of color like we’re all wild flowers out in the field! Keep in mind, the majority of the wedding will be held outside (weather permitting) in mid August so it'll be hot.
Only the people explicitly listed on the invitation, including children, are invited. We unfortunately cannot accommodate plus ones due to our budget, and they will unfortunately have to be turned away at the door due to large fees for unexpected guests the venue will charge us. Please feel free to talk to us about any concerns!
The officiant will announce a specific time to take photos at the beginning of the ceremony, but then phones are asked to be put away for the rest of the ceremony. Phones will be welcomed again during the reception.
We have partnered with a hotel Sturbridge to get a good rate for everyone! Please see the "Travel" link at the top of the page for more information. If there are no more rooms available or there's any trouble making the reservation, please let one of the brides know. We have a set number of rooms but we can increase this at any time as long as the hotel still has room.
The Fern Hill Barn has ample space in their own onsite lot for free. There should be plenty of room for everyone to park their car. If anyone has to leave their car overnight for their safety, the car needs to be moved by noon the next day.
All soft drinks are free, and all other drinks will be handled as a cash bar.
We are currently working our menu and waiting for our meeting to make decisions. If this is a concern for you, please get in contact with us as we'd like to accommodate everyone to the best of our ability!
RSVPs are now open on the RSVP page located at the top of the page! Input your first and last name on that page. You and your associate party members will all pull up together and you can RSVP for each person individually. This can be updated as needed. If you have trouble pulling anything up, either of the brides would be happy to take a call and make sure you're updated in our systems to keep an accurate head count!
