Our Story

May 28th, 2020

Sharing my heartwarming love story, because sometimes fate really works in mysterious ways. It still blows my mind to think that Chase and I attended the same high school, yet never crossed paths until his senior year. Life has a funny way of bringing people together. We used to exchange glances in the hallways, never knowing that one day we would become inseparable. When we finally connected, it was like the missing piece of the puzzle falling into place effortlessly. There were no awkward moments, just an instant bond that transformed us into the best of friends. It's amazing how two individuals who are complete opposites can complement each other so perfectly. Our journey unfolded just as the world was plunged into uncertainty with the outbreak of COVID. But instead of allowing fear and worry to consume us, we embraced the opportunity to embark on little adventures together. We explored every nook and cranny of our small hometown, taking long drives and enjoying heartfelt conversations by the riverside. It was there, at my most favorite spot in the world, that Chase asked me to be his girlfriend. And from that moment, the river became our sanctuary, a symbol of our love. Swimming became our shared passion, and it quickly became apparent that our most treasured moments were spent diving into the water, accompanied by our beloved fur baby, Wheezy. Our love for each other grew as we nurtured our little family of animals, realizing that they were an essential part of completing our own loving unit. Eventually, we decided to branch out and start a new chapter of our lives in the city of Caldwell, Idaho. Adapting to the fast-paced lifestyle was a challenge, but nothing could break the unbreakable bond we possessed. Our love only grew stronger, and soon enough, we found our place in this ever-changing world. But as life would have it, we decided to relocate again, this time to Nampa, Idaho. While our previous home in Caldwell was nothing short of adorable, we wanted to be closer to our workplaces. Yet, with each move, one thing was crystal clear - wherever we may reside, we are each other's home. Physical locations matter little when you have found your soulmate. Looking back at all the incredible experiences we've shared, I am filled with overwhelming gratitude. We've danced our hearts out at concerts of our favorite artists, explored different states, embarked on a magical cruise, and marveled at the awe-inspiring beauty of Blue Heart Springs' pristine waters. These are the memories that made me realize how lucky we are to have found each other. Without our love story, we may never have witnessed such breathtaking moments. Chase proposed on September 19th, 2022, at my favorite place in the world, my Grandma and Grandpa’s house. He truly picked the perfect place. And now, as we stand on the precipice of forever, preparing to exchange vows and become one, I am overcome with excitement. Together, we will embark on endless adventures, facing all the challenges that life throws our way while growing stronger with each passing day. Chase, you are my forever person, my partner in crime, and the love of my life. I am eternally grateful for the chance encounters and the winding roads that led us to this point. Let's continue making countless memories and savoring every moment as we take on the world side by side. Forever and always.
