Yes! All events will take place at the South Shore Cultural Center.
Please use the Lyft Promo Code MAPLEPUP for $20 credit to arrive and depart from the venue. We encourage guests to Uber, Lyft, Taxi, or drive (there is metered parking at the venue). There is also a Metra train that runs on the weekends from downtown Chicago to the South Shore stop. Here is the train schedule: https://schedules.metrarail.com/pdf/ME.pdf
Metered parking is available at the venue. We will also be providing Lyft credits for guests.
We have reserved a room block at the Fairmont Millennium in downtown Chicago. We encourage our guests to also explore other neighborhoods in the city as there are so many wonderful options across Chicago! Refer to the Travel toggle on the top of the page for more information.
Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our wedding day an adults-only event outside of immediate family.
All wedding events will take place indoors. There is a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the lake that guests can enjoy during the cocktail hour and reception.
We want our guests to have fun getting glammed up and looking their best for our event, whether that means wearing a glamourous gown, dashing tuxedo, something trendy and edgy, or your favorite cocktail dress or stylish sport coat. We want you to look and feel your best for our big day! Maple does request that only she and the bride wear white.
Water and refreshments will be made available during the ceremony. The cocktail hour and reception will be Open Bar. A plated dinner will be served and guests have three entree options when you RSVP. We will have passed appetizers during the cocktail hour and late night snacks, a dessert bar, and coffee available after dinner. We will also have the classic Pittsburgh Cookie Table.
We have a gluten-free entrée and a vegetarian entrée available for guests. Please alert us of any other dietary restrictions as soon as possible.
You know it!
We recommend becoming familiar with "Tage wie diese" by Die Toten Hosen, the unofficial anthem of our favorite soccer team, Fortuna95. https://open.spotify.com/track/2lYsCjTvXIHOqT8xSbK2jq?si=4910a549551d4987
Our ceremony will start at 3:30 pm. Please arrive with adequate time to be able to take your seats prior to the start time.
We politely request that guests wait until after the ceremony to take photos.
Both Chicago O'Hare and Midway airport are easily accessible to and from the city center.
