Wedding Party

Maggie Estes

Matron of Honor

Maggie is Libby's elder sister, although she is better known as the mastermind and connoisseur behind GrandMillennialFinds, a burgeoning KC area antique empire. She plans to draw on her decorated speech and debate career during her toast at the reception.

Zach Bishop

Best Man

Zach is the tallest Bishop boy and the most well-versed in Kansas City area Barbeque. You'll recognize him because of the relentless energy on the dance floor and being surrounded by all three ring-bearers and multiple flower girls (who happen to all be his children).

Jenna Galakatos

Bridesmaid

Jenna would love to tell you about how she can drive stick. She is our only Greek friend, so come to her for all of your spanakopita needs. She is a die-hard Blues fan. Ask her about stories from her days being next door to Libby in the Chi Omega house or putting up with Libby for two more years in their off-campus house 

Luke Bishop

Groomsman

Luke has the best beard of the Bishop bros and also the best hair (not that he has much competition). Joining us from the great state of Texas, Luke is coming to the wedding as a stop on a great western road trip. Ask him about which national park you should go to next or his opinions on various paella recipes.

Maddie Zehner

Bridesmaid

Maddie is a hiking enthusiast and wonderful cook. She is known to whip up a mean dinner wearing an apron with her Chaco’s. Maddie and Matthew were good friends long before he met Libby, and they still enjoy leaving Libby out when they talk about the good old days. She had her first corndog at the Iowa State Fair this summer.

John Bishop

Groomsman

Dr. John is the buffest Bishop brother and is a proud Baylor Bears fan. You'll see him next to Zach on the dance floor, but he will just be moving uncontrollably instead of dancing. If you need a cool summer job and don't have any plans, John can help you out :)

Angela Resch

Bridesmaid

Angela would like to have our wedding be FDR-themed, but she lost out on a close vote. She is the most photogenic of our bridal party and has the best ideas. She requested that her dress not hinder her fist pumping on the dance floor, and she embraces her grandma driving and is a proud Minnesotan.

Andrew Bishop

Groomsman

Dr. Andrew has by far the best taste of the Bishop men and is the oldest of the clan. He has most recently lived with Matthew and I’m sure has only glowing things to say about Matthew’s red meat consumption. You’ll find him out at the cigar bar with a glass of fine whiskey in his hand. He can answer any American history or Lord of the Rings inquiries that you have.

Kirby Power

Bridesmaid

Kirby is famous for her homemade Mac n Cheese recipe – you should ask her for it. She has every Taylor Swift record on Vinyl but hasn’t listened to any of them. Libby and her have been roommates on multiple occasions and she leaves big shoes for Matthew to follow in the roommate department. #x #gomaroons

Camden Schulte

Groomsman

Camden is disappointed that he can’t wear the color blue for our wedding. He is the author and publisher of the Bishop family dictionary and the proud winner of the only Bishop daughter’s heart. When he isn’t gallivanting with his two red-headed children or playing soccer, he dabbles in the occasional D&D game.

Tessa McGartland

Bridesmaid

Tessa showed Libby the wild west, and she is coming to us from the metropolis of Rolla, MO. She can recite every lyric to Yeah by Usher and she will be showcasing her talents at the reception. Ask her about her Home Base dance move. She is happy to fulfill any journalism free lancing needs that you may have.

Cole Willey

Groomsman

Cole is a former guitarist with Matthew and current harmonica enthusiast. If you’re lucky, he may even bring one to the wedding ;) While his brief ultimate frisbee career is not storied, the lessons he learned on the field turned him into the man he is today. Thanks to Cole for being the reason Matthew was in Columbia, MO and met Libby.

Emily Huepel

Bridesmaid

Emily has the most energy of the bridal party and you will be able to hear her before you see her. Any young man that needs a swing dancing lesson, you should find your way over to Emily. Emily is not afraid to camp overnight for a Cyclone football game or to marathon country music concerts. Go clones.

Adam Topping

Groomsman

Adam is a former business partner of Matthew’s and a current Chicago Cubs fan. Coming from Nashville, TN, he looks forward to teaching some of you a few of his favorite line dances. If Adam isn’t riding his boat or whittling a new walking stick, you can likely find him at a Jimmy Buffett or Kenny Chesney concert.

Dana Weller

Bridesmaid

Dana has quickly become an integral part of Weller Farms and is especially fond of Fabio and Dirty Dan, her favorite bulls (guess who named them). She loves a good Margarita, which she will be able to have once again after the birth of her first child in August. We’re all thankful that Jake Weller found someone to put up with him.

Sam Herrig

Groomsman

Sam is a gentleman, scholar, and lover of the fine arts. He had the pleasure of sharing a house with Matthew throughout Iowa State, although he got exiled to the attic because of his snoring. Sam is a proud native and current resident of Dubuque, IA and father to Charlotte. Ask him about his friend Jake.

Rachel Doerneman

Bridesmaid

Rachel is the tallest woman in the Weller family and also the newest! She will whip your butt on the basketball court and challenge you to a game of pitch (although she’ll lose). She most likely will know every person in the room and will be inviting you to come to her Kansas-famous auction next fall.

Thomas Lechtenberg

Groomsman

Thomas has handed Matthew many embarrassing losses on the disc golf course, but their friendship overcame each one. Thomas and Matthew dream of the day they return to their college residence and see the glorious lofts they built standing tall. Ask Thomas for his firecracker salmon recipe or about his tornado-chasing endeavors.
