FAQs

Hopefully these will answer all your burning questions but if not, please feel free to ask us!
Question

When should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm so we recommend arriving 20-30 minutes prior so you can find a seat and get comfortable!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, we really do! However we want this to be a fun night off for you and only want to invite guests that will remember these memories. This is why we’ve decided to allow children 11 years and older come to our wedding with an invitation.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

October 1st. Any RSVPs after this date will not be accepted and you will not be allowed to attend the wedding

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Semi-formal attire required. Also please refrain from wearing white! Our wedding color is burgundy. You are welcome to wear it or any other color….yes even black. We just want you to be there!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are getting married at the Whitney Peak Hotel so that would be the closest to the party. However this is located in downtown Reno and there are many other hotels within walking distance that may be more affordable including The Silver Legacy, El Dorado, and Circus Circus Casinos. If you would like to stay at The Whitney Peak Hotel, use this code (LED24) to get a 15% off discount on your room.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Self parking is free in the Whitney Peak Garage across the street from the hotel. You will need to get your ticket validated. Valet Parking is discounted for wedding guests and is $15 per vehicle. We recommend this option for ease and less walking!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we also like booze! There will be an open bar for 4 hours after the ceremony. The last hour of the reception will be a cash bar.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a formal registry. We have been living together for over a year and do not need anything for the home. However, we do have a honeymoon fund that you can donate to so we can travel! You can donate by clicking on the registry tab of the wedding website and clicking on our 'Honeymoon Fund' link
