FAQs

We're thrilled that you're considering joining us for our destination wedding. We want to make your journey as smooth and enjoyable as possible, so we've put together this FAQ page to help answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to celebrate with you and create beautiful memories together!
Question

Will I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, you will need a passport to travel to Mexico. If you do not already have one, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible as processing times have been delayed. You can apply and find more information here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html

Question

What does all-inclusive mean?

Answer

At our chosen resort, 'all-inclusive' means your worries vanish as you step into paradise. From exquisite dining and top-shelf drinks to endless activities—all included. Welcome to the ultimate destination wedding experience!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please note that the resort does require a minimum 4-night stay, allowing you to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. *If you need to reduce the minimum stay, please reach out to our travel agent Amber and she can assist you.

Question

Do I have to stay at the resort?

Answer

All wedding events will be happening at the resort so by staying on-site, you ensure you won't miss any of our special events which are all conveniently located within the resort's exquisite grounds. No need to worry about transportation or missing out on any of the festivities. Plus, you'll have more opportunities to connect with fellow guests, share stories, and make lasting memories together. Guests that do decide to stay elsewhere will only be allowed entrance for the wedding day with a special guest pass. Please be aware, we only have a small number of guest passes that people can use to come in for the wedding so please check with us before booking anything. Guest passes will allow you to enter the resort 30 mins prior to the ceremony start time and you will be asked to leave after the reception ends.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

First and foremost, we want this to be a positive experience for all of our guests and do not want anyone to feel pressured. There is ZERO expectation/obligation for anyone to attend and we cannot emphasize this enough. We completely understand the cost to travel and take time off work may not be achievable for some. Please join us if you are able, but we will gladly accept your warm wishes from afar!

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

There is no official dress code but we will suggest comfortable "tropical formal". Men do not have to wear jackets as it will most likely be quite warm. None of our wedding events will be happening directly on the beach so choose whatever footwear you would like.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence on our special day is the greatest gift we could ask for. We appreciate the effort involved in joining us for our wedding, so please, no gifts!

Question

Who can I contact with any additional questions?

Answer

If you have questions related to travel, please see our travel website and our travel agent, Amber, can assist you. If you have general wedding inquiries, please feel free to reach out to either of us.
