Our story began in Plaquemine, LA almost six years ago at St. John the Evangelist Church. That hot weekend in June was the wedding of Jason and Christina Stricker. After 12 hour car ride from my hometown Kansas, my brother Zac (also Jason's bestman) and I arrived at St. John for the rehearsal. I sat down in one of the pews and watched as the bridal party practiced. It was at that moment, one of the groomsmen walked down the isle, catching my eye and flashing the biggest smile. And who could that handsome groomsmen be? You guessed it, Bradley! Throughout that weekend, we shared many more smiles while getting to know each other better. Bradley even showed me some Louisiana culture (including crawfish boil and drive thru daiquiris). Within the two months after I got back to Kansas, Bradley bought a plane ticket to visit me. For the next year, we flew back and forth between Kansas and Louisiana. Dating long distance wasn’t easy but our relationship was strong and we both wanted a future together. It was after that year, I decided to move to Louisiana to be closer to Bradley and complete my degree at Louisiana State University. And the rest is history, well as the saying goes right!? Haha... Over the past five years we have traveled, made some amazing friends, gotten engaged, graduated college and now about to get married. It’s crazy to think back to that day, when I watched that handsome groomsman walk down the isle smiling at me. I would have never guessed that he was my future husband and that he would be the one watching me walk down that same isle to say "I do" years later. We are so excited to see what our future holds. We cannot wait to spend our wedding day with yall - the people who have loved us and helped us get our happily ever after!
