During COVID, Lexi spent a majority of her time in Midland, TX with her family. One night her cousin Megan, asked to see what the Bumble dating app was like and what guys from the area were on there. For a while they laughed and swiped (no) on quite a few but then Casey popped up. Meg was so excited and said he's so sweet and Lexi had to meet him! They had their first date a few days later at Cancun's Grill where they served Lexi queso with corn (red flag) but she gave Casey a pass. They've been inseparable ever since and Casey moved to NYC to live with Lexi (& Winston, duh) in June 2024.

Casey & Lexi usually celebrated their anniversary at the Plaza Hotel's Champagne Bar where they would enjoy champagne punch, lobster rolls, and other yummy dishes. Their third anniversary passed in April 2024 and they celebrated at Da Toscano that year so when Casey asked Lexi to go eat at the Plaza a month later, she wasn't suspicious at all to continue their tradition. Lexi had class that afternoon so Casey told her to meet him at the Plaza and he'd go a little early to grab a table. When Lexi arrived, they told her that you had to be a guest of the Plaza Hotel to eat and that she needed to pick up her room key at the front counter. Lexi went up the elevator and when she used her room key, she was greeted by Winston, rose petals, and Casey with a ring.
