Lake George Oktoberfest & Fall Festival
Held annually, the Lake George Village Oktoberfest transforms Canada Street into a Bavarian-style street fair. The 2025 festival is scheduled for October 10–12 and features: Live Entertainment: Enjoy continuous German and polka music, traditional dancers, and performances by bands like Fritz's Polka Band and Tonys Polka Band. Culinary Delights: Savor authentic Bavarian dishes such as bratwurst, knackwurst, weisswurst, potato pancakes, and more. Activities: Participate in unique events like the Keg Toss, Roll Out The Barrel Race, Stein Hoisting, and the Dancing Chicken. Family Fun: The festival also offers carnival rides, artisan vendors, and a beer garden sponsored by Adirondack Brewery.

Lake George is known for its beautiful autumn colors. It is one of the best places to enjoy the vibrant fall foliage.

The Adirondacks provide numerous trails for hiking with incredible views of the lake and mountains. Popular spots near by include: Prospect Mountain: Hike or drive to the summit for panoramic views of Lake George, especially spectacular during fall. Tongue Mountain Range: Offers scenic trails with breathtaking views of the lake surrounded by fall colors. Shelving Rock Falls: A moderate hike that ends with a beautiful waterfall, framed by the season's foliage. The Adirondack High Peaks are just an hour drive north in the area of Keene, NY.
