For out of town guests, we want to help guide you on travel and lodging, and offer a few general tips for your time in Chicago.

Travel Note

Flying to Chicago

Chicago has both O'Hare and Midway Airports available. You will find many more flight options into O'Hare at a great variety of price points, but do note that Midway is a Southwest hub, so if you are a regular Southwest traveler, you can often find good deals. Both airports are served by rapid transit (Blue line from O'Hare, Orange line from Midway), and there are abundant cabs and rideshare options. Just note that if you are flying in during weekday rush hours (~3:30-6:30), you may find your cab ride particularly long from either airport, but especially from O'Hare. A 25 minute ride can easily become an hour and fifteen minutes to downtown.
