Where is the ceremony & reception taking place?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception will both take place outside in Sarah's parents' backyard. Please dress accordingly with the appropriate footwear, and bring any necessities like a jacket or shawl if it gets cooler at night.

Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes! The Wales Center Fire Company - 12300 Big Tree Road, is graciously providing parking behind their building that will accommodate all of our guests. After parking, please follow the pathway located at the far corner of the lot to the Ceremony and Reception site.

Will transportation be provided to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. However, we are offering an Uber voucher for you to use in order to arrive and depart safely. Please check back when our date gets closer for our specific voucher code!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

Guests may start arriving at 3:30pm at the earliest, but please arrive no later than 3:50pm for a Ceremony start of 4:00pm.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can’t predict the weather. Keep an eye on the weather in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and have your umbrella ready.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a Semi-Formal / Cocktail / Dressy Casual attire for our wedding, please leave your jeans and sneakers at home. Wear something you’re comfortable in — button up shirts, flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy. Since our Ceremony and Reception will take place outside, we recommend avoiding skinny high heels.

ARE THERE ANY COLORS THE GUESTS SHOULD AVOID WEARING?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams.

CAN I BRING A GUEST/DATE?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to "The {Your Last Name} Family " if your children have been invited and "Mr. & Mrs." if only you and your significant other have been invited.

On your RSVP, please indicate any restrictions/allergies, or personally let us know. We want you to be safe and comfortable!
