After meeting online and much harassment on Ethan's behalf, Levana finally agreed to meet up and the rest is history.

After dragging Levana to the top of conical hill in the pouring rain, Ethan managed to get down on one knee and stumble out: "Do you want to spend the rest of my life with you?" After a good laugh and the temptation to ask him to try again Levana said "Yes!"

After being together in Christchurch, Levana and Ethan moved across the ditch to Wollongong, Australia in May 2019. They lived here for 4 and a half years and return to Christchurch in October 2023
