Maid of Honor
Sarah and Leslie have been besties since day 1. We've done everything from swim team, girl scouts, concerts, worked at our dad's office, and traveled to Europe together. We share a love of concerts, boybands, travel, teaching, and sandwiches.
Bridesmaid
Andrea is Leslie's sister. We love spending time together at Hood Canal (both of our Happy Place). We always had lots of fun on family trips together. We share a love of animals, Green Day, Hama Hama oysters, and games.
Bridesmaid
Jocelyn and Leslie have been friends since freshman year of high school. We share a love of concerts, late 90's/early 2000's movies, traveling, and the San Francisco 49ers. We love watching Niner games together whenever we get the chance.
Bridesman
Pete and Leslie have known each other since high school and quickly became great friends. We share a love of the San Francisco 49ers. While he and his wife Jocelyn lived in San Diego, we would meet up most weekends to watch Niner games.
Bridesmaid
Alex and Leslie met in college. We got our teaching credentials together. We've taken many trips together including Tahoe, Palm Springs, San Francisco, Monteray, Serbia, and Austria. We share a love of boybands, roadtrips, traveling, and eating lots of good snacks (especially popcorn).
Bridesmaid
Patty and Leslie work together. John and Leslie met at Patty's Halloween party in 2019. We share a love of dogs, going to the movies and eating lots of popcorn, boybands, unicorns, and going to trivia.
Bridesmaid
Jessie and Leslie have been friends since 7th grade. We went to middle school and high school together and then lived together during Covid. We share a love of walks by the beach, Christmas movies, dogs, being food buddies, mermaids, and elementary school art projects.
Bridesmaid
Melissa and Leslie have been friends since 7th grade. We were inseparable in high school. We both went to college in San Diego and were roommates our senior year of college. We share a love of dogs, games, concerts, the beach, and late 90's/early 2000's movies.
Flower Girls and Ring Bearer
Arabella, Maya, and Nora are Leslie's nieces and Carter is Leslie's nephew. We love to spend time together at Hood Canal playing on the beach as unicorns, mermaids, and dinosaurs. We also love practicing our talent of rolling our tongues.
Ring Bearer
Logan is Alex's son and he and Leslie have been besties since Logan was born. We love taking trips to Tahoe and even went to Serbia when he was 1 and 1/2. We share a love of ice cream and snacking.
Best Man/Officiant
Chris and John met on O-Team, and got to know each other better as 1st time directors and their loves of helping others, Pokémon, and Power Rangers. Chris and Leslie were co-workers for 7 years. Chris and Caroline helped introduce us at a Halloween Party, and we'd say things worked out pretty well. It's an honor and privilege to have Chris as our officiant for this important day.
Best Man
John has known him his entire life... since he's the older brother. More than just a best friend, but a confidant, fellow game lover, and the best brother anyone could ask for. He's been there for me in the best of times and the worst, and I'm thankful to have him in my life. There's no one else I could imagine as my best man on this special day.
Groomsman
CP! One of my best friends, you may already know him because he's always networking and meeting new people. We met on Oteam as members of BTJ and I know I can always count on him when things get tough. He's always the first to check in and see how he can help and we both enjoy our mutual love of Rock Band, Films (which we often disagree on), football, and the love of a good debate.
Groomswoman
John's Legacy! Caroline was John's mentee on Orientation team, which would become a lifelong friendship as she also became an Oteam director and has gone on to do such incredible thing since! We connect on our mutual loves of helping others, Rock Band, and she is my fashion guru when I need a wardrobe change ;) I'm so thankful to have met you and to have you by my side on this special day!
Groomsman
John and Jared (a.k.a. Max) met on Orientation Team (are you seeing a trend?) where they bonded on leadership, BTJ, and games of all sorts. Jared always brings a positive attitude and one of the best laughs around. If you can dream it, Jared can build it. I always appreciate his thoughts and opinions, and there are few better problem-solvers I have ever met. Thank you for confidence and sense of adventure, which has certainly led to many of our best stories and experiences.
Groomsman
My oldest confidant, John and Marco met in the 5th grade, where John may have thrown a ball during dodgeball and Marco may have been running on the blacktop behind it, resulting in a broken collarbone. Instead of becoming enemies, they became fast friends, where the Padilla household became a 2nd home and I knew I always had a friend and someone who had my back, especially during the challenging years of middle school. Since then we've been bandmates, gamers, and lifelong friends and I'm lucky to have made such an impactful and wonderful friend.
Groomsman
John and Jamie met at the 1st Spider-Man film in High School, where their love of comics, tennis, comic-con and the Fungle became a fast friendship. We celebrated many 1st together, including many of our first jobs, our first trip to comic-con, and many other highlights. We also have a shared love of finding the best deals and catching up on pop culture. Thankful to have a friend who can speak my language in comics, Fungle lore, and other important subjects.
Groomsman
John and Brian met in college when they helped run a floor of freshman as RA's. Since then they had the opportunity to work as teammates in many walks of life as students and professionals. From there they had great discussion on music, faith, and pursuing their goals in higher education. Whether as Charles and Stefan or their other comedic duos, this pair always knows how to have a good time and help others discover the same.
Groomsman
One of my first friends in college and on O-Team, where we bonded over football, games, and a love of dance (or at least admiration of Chris' skills). We had the good fortune to live together for many years, having deep conversations, getting me hooked on "The Office", and a mutual love of showmanship in O-Team Idol and presentations. I'm thankful for my friendship with this world-savvy traveler.
