Chicago's very own Rodeo Drive. Shop at every designer imaginable, eat at Michael Jordan's steakhouse, have a cup of coffee at the Starbucks Reserve roastery.
Pedestrian-only streets lined with shops and restaurants, easily accessible from the red line that you can hop on by the hotel!
Cindy's Rooftop is a great restaurant & bar with a rooftop that has incredible views of Millennium Park (which is where the infamous "Bean" is). Their food & drinks will not disappoint! I recommend making a reservation a good amount of time in advance as they fill up quickly.
Ella Elli is Lesley's favorite restaurant in the city!
Pequod's is Lesley's favorite spot for deep dish pizza in the city.

Walk around Millennium Park and see the bean, also the rest of the park is great - Jay Pritzker Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater that's beautiful, there's gardens, etc. You could easily spend half a day there.
Have drinks in the Hancock building. On the 96th floor, there is a cocktail bar with incredible views of the city. Pro tip: the women's restroom has even better views.
Serve-yourself beer hall with 40 taps of local Chicago beer and some of the best BBQ in the city.
