The next chapter of our story is beginning soon!

Jared and Grace had known each other since being in a middle school after-school program together and having mutual friends growing up. They had seen each other roaming the halls in their high school and would comment more and more about their common interests; they both loved the band Panic! At the Disco and they were often both in the art hall for theater events, art classes, or different musical classes. Once they both were on their school’s improv team, they began to bond. Before they knew it, they started doing everything together. They would go get tasty meals, see some of their favorite bands, play games of hangman with some coffee, and would constantly find other fun ways to spend time together. Over the years, they saw each other less but were still catching up regularly over some breakfast at IHOP or games of Wii sports. On Jared’s 21st birthday, Grace moved away but they chatted that day and after then, they started calling or talking more again. Grace would drive back to Wichita to spend time with him and they would enjoy frequenting the regular karaoke bar. At a friend’s pool party, they kissed and something new began for them. After that day, it became clearer every day where their story was meant to go.

Celebrating their first year anniversary, they booked a stay at the Drury Plaza to have a fun night out on the town. There were some preparations they both needed to make and Jared checked in first, with Grace shortly behind him. When she came up to meet him at the room, he let her in and he had prepared a beautiful assortment of gifts. On the room table, there was a giant basket with stuffed animals, champagne, flowers, and treats to enjoy. Grace was fawning over this arrangement and when she turned around to thank him for his loving gestures, she found him on one knee. He declared his everlasting love for her and asked her to marry him. Of course, she said yes! That night they spent time adventuring downtown as a newly engaged couple and ended the night at their favorite karaoke bar, where their love first started to sprout. They’re so excited to celebrate this next big chapter in their lives with you!
