Absolutley! We are getting married in Mexico and a passport is required to travel. A passport valid until at least April 2026 is required for everyone of all ages. If your passport will expire before April 2026, please renew ASAP. If you or your child do not already have a passport, it's time to order one now. There have been significant delays in passport processing lately. We highly encourage you not to wait, and submit your passport application ASAP. Please do not let procrastination cause you to miss this momentous occasion.
We know many of you are excited about the idea of destination wedding and a few of you may be feeling disappointed that we didn't choose a location closer to home. We toured several local venues in SoCal and after much discussion we decided that we would rather celebrate our love over the course of several memorable days with our closest friends and family instead of just a few short hours.
This will be our only wedding celebration, so we will not be hosting a separate event at a later date. If you find yourself unable to attend our destination wedding, we completely understand. While we would be thrilled to have you celebrate with us, we want you to prioritize what's best for you. We'll be sure to share photos, videos, and updates from the special day so you can still feel connected and be part of our celebration in spirit. If you'd like to send us your well wishes, please feel free to reach out. Your support and love mean the world to us, and we'll be thinking of you on our big day!
The resort is family friendly and you are more than welcome to have guests accompany you on your trip. However, we are trying to keep the guest list as intimate as possible, so our wedding is invitation only. Only guests who are listed on the invitation can be accommodated at the wedding.
Unfortunately due to capacity limits, we will only be able to accommodate children who are participating in the wedding ceremony.
It will be fall in California, but still summer weather in Puerto Vallarta. October is on the tail-end of hurricane season in Mexico. Puerto Vallarta is rarely effected by hurricanes, however, the tropical weather is present. Please expect mid 80s- low 90s during the day and mid 70's in the evenings. There will be some humidity as well.
Yes! Please prepare for an All White event and Beach Cocktail attire for the wedding. Please see the ‘Wedding Itinerary’ tab of our website for more details regarding dress code attire for each event.
Yes! Please see the ‘Wedding Itinerary’ tab of our website for more details on our wedding weekend schedule.
Please see the ‘Things To Do’ section of our wedding website for more details! This section will be updated in Summer 2025.
Your good wishes and company are more than enough for us, however, we’ve created an online registry for friends and family who have expressed an interest. Since we'll be traveling back to SoCal after the wedding, we kindly request that you do not bring any physical gifts.
