We have had tons of fun going to see Nurse Blake together and enjoying the jokes that only those in the healthcare field understand. She has helped me through so much and I couldn't have my wedding without her!

Jorg and I met for lunch a few weeks after I met Derek. She and Derek had been good friends for a while so she wanted to make sure that I wasn't a total jerk that was gonna hurt her friend. (I guess she approved lol) Soon after, I began volunteering for the youth group that they both serve at and we have been friends ever since.

I've known this girl literally my entire life since she is my cousin. We have been through all sorts of shenanigans throughout the years and I am so happy to have her by my side on the happiest day of my life!

I've known this girl my entire life too, she is also my cousin! She is a bit older than me so she has definitely had a big impact on my life and taught me so much over the years. We always have fun when we are together and I know she will help make my wedding day special.

I got this little mutt in October of 2016 and he is my baby. He is gonna be our "ring barker". He has been through my senior year of high school and now he will have been with me through all of college too when I graduate in December. He has always been my study buddy, but now I sometimes think he might love Derek more than me! I can even just tell him that Derek is coming over and his ears perk up and he gets so excited! I can't wait to have him be a part of our special day!!

I met Austin on both of our first days moving into the dorms at DBU in the Fall of 2017 and we quickly became best friends through our shared interests of video games and getting the exact same order at Chick-fil-A. We have lived together in both the dorms and the brownstones at DBU and we have served together for most of those time as well. With him being the youth pastor at the Oaks Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, he was an obvious choice for us to have him speak at our wedding.

Micah is Austin's brother and he may as well be mine at this point since he likes me better than his own brother! We both have very similar personalities and we got along from the very moment we were introduced to each other. He tackles me every chance he gets to see me because that is just who he is and I know he will make a good best man.

I did not officially meet Jacob until I went to Colorado for Spring break of 2020 right before Covid-19 took the world by storm. I have pretty much known Jacob over a text chat that Austin introduced me to soon after friending him. I knew he would have to be part of my groomsmen because he shares much of the same personality that the rest of us have!

Josh is Jacob's little brother so I felt like I had to include him too...just kidding! For me, Josh is in the same boat as Jacob because I also had not met him until the same time as Jacob and I have known him only over a group chat and a few video calls over the years. All of my groomsmen and officiant chare a similar jokester personality and we all love Jesus to the fullest so of course, Josh would also become one of my groomsmen.

I've gone to church with this cutie for about 5 years now and have loved getting to see her grow up through the years. Before this whole COVID thing, we had a thing every Sunday morning and she would run up and hug me- sometimes even jump on me! She is turning into a wonderful and respectful young lady. Having the opportunity to help in a few of her Sunday school classes and growing a bond with her over the years, Hannah was the perfect choice for our flower girl.

Brother David has been my (Rachael's) pastor since September of 2019 and he performed our premarital counseling. We like him a little bit.. just kidding! He fit in well with his funky personality and shared love of gummy bears and banana pudding!!! It was so much fun to learn from him and more about him through our premarital counseling sessions and we can't wait to have him officiate our big day!!!
