The wedding is country chic, or dressy casual. We wanted to be comfortable in what we are wearing and we want our guests to be comfortable too. Below are just a few examples of dressy casual but do not feel confined to those examples. Guys: Jeans, slacks, polo, button up. Ladies: Sundress, romper, jumpsuit, nice jeans and blouse Ladies also keep in mind when choosing footwear that the wedding will be taking place outside and the reception will be held in an old tobacco barn with a packed dirt floor. ***Bring a jacket, the weather can be very unpredictable in May.***
There will be some children invited along with a few involved in the wedding, but we recommend parents use their own judgement as there will be an open bar, and people will be drinking, dancing, and having a good time.
We do not have a registry with a store or website, after combining 2 households we found we had multiples of nearly everything. Celebrating with our family and friends is the best gift we could ask for, but if you would like to get us something contributions to our honeymoon would be very much appreciated.
