Everyone should be seated at least 5 mins before the ceremony starts, but please do not arrive more than 30 mins prior to the cathedral
We ask that everyone dress formal or semi-formal. We do encourage everyone to dress with lots of colors, after all this is a celebration!
The ceremony will be entirely indoors, the cocktail hour and reception will be a mix of indoor and outdoor, but dinner will be served indoors
We're hoping for perfect weather, of course, but it is May in Texas so its possible things could be a little warmer than you're used to for our northern friends and family
The ceremony will start promptly at Noon and last an hour. After the ceremony the wedding party will have 30 mins for pictures at the Cathedral, then its off to pictures around San Antonio and Kendall Point. The reception venue is open for guests to arrive whenever they want; however, the cocktail hour will not start until 5 pm. Please feel free to grab a snack, explore the city, maybe change into your dancing shoes, or just relax a bit before the party starts!
We recommend everyone stay downtown so they can walk to the ceremony since the Cathedral does not offer free on-site parking. The reception venue is roughly a 40min drive from the Cathedral, and since there is some downtime between the Ceremony and the reception we're asking guests to drive themselves when they are ready
The Cathedral does not have parking; however, there is a parking garage at 100 North Main (City Tower Garage). The reception venue has free parking for all guests available all day
