Overnight Hike

This is an overnight stay in an alpine hut. The sleeping situation is a large bunk room, similar to a hostel setup. David and Emily will be on this hike! It’s one of our favorites.
This hike is through a gorge and it's very wet. Pack rain gear, hiking boots, wool socks, dry sleeping clothes, hiking clothes for the following day. Most huts require a sleeping sack liner (you can find them cheap on amazon) and I recommend a variety of layers. It could be warm and sunny or cold and rainy in the mountains, be prepared for any weather. This is a mountain cabin we have to hike in and out from. Huts have warm food and cold beer for purchase, but we can also bring our own drinks and snacks for the bunk room or evening wanders in the glacial valley. This is one of my favorite hikes and a great way to get over jet lag.

Partnachklamm Hike

Hiking Attire - This is a gorge hike so waterproof layers and hiking boots are encouraged! Emily’s Parents will be leading this casual short hike for the morning.

12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Hiking clothes, swimsuit and towel if weather is nice! Emily and David will be here in the afternoon after returning from the overnight hike.
Options: Hike around the lake (approx 2 hrs) Sunbathe and chill (if weather is nice) You can also rent a boat! Take gondola up the Zugspitze (tallest mountain in Germany)

Mountain Carts

Outdoor Activity Attire + Helmet. What you would wear to hike or mountain bike. Long sleeves and pants ideal.
This is an incredibly fun day riding mountain carts. Think of Mario Kart but for the whole family down a mountain. Easier and more stable than mountain biking and SO MUCH FUN! If the mountain carts aren't your thing, you are welcome to join in for the chairlift ride and hang out at the mountain top hut for lunch and beverages. Activity costs are OYO. We have hired a large private tour bus to transport people there and back. The cost will be 15 euros per person and includes pickup and dropoff. Kick back, have some beers, forget navigation stress, and hop on the bus! This is optional, please let us know if you intend on riding the bus with us. Pickup at 10:30am at 86 St. Martin Strasse.

This is an optional event! One of our favorite restaurants. We reserved the patio space, food and drinks on your own.
