Travel Note
If you are arriving at Fiumicino, you can take a white taxi into the city for 50 euros (if paying by card, verify with the driver that they will accept it). There is a train for 14 euros that will take you to Termini train station. There are buses that will take you to various drop-off points in Rome for 5-10 euros.
Travel Note
There is no shortage of accommodation in Rome for all budgets. Below I have listed a few places to take into consideration. If searching for accommodation, I suggest you look for the following indicators: Centro Storico, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps/Piazza di Spagna, Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori, Jewish Ghetto...
Hotel
This modest hotel is across the street from the wedding venue. A big plus is the pool and gianicolo views.
Hotel
This three-star hotel puts you in a great location near the top of the Spanish steps at an accessible price.
Hotel
This five-star hotel is new to Rome with super chic interiors. The hotel is a short walk to the Trinita dei Monti (top of the Spanish steps).
Hotel
This four-star hotel is steps away from one of my favorite Baroque churches, Sant Ignazio. It is another few steps from the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon.
