Tyler and I were both on family vacations in Port Aransas for Memorial Day weekend. If you've been to Port A, you know that Bernie's is the classiest bar on the island. It was during COVID and right before bars had to shut down, so capacity was limited. That gave me a clear view of Tyler standing by the bar with a backwards hat and a Bud Light in hand; love at first sight. His dad, and my future father-in-law, was cutting up the dance floor so it gave me the perfect intro to come over and ask if he wanted to grab a drink. We all know I'm the type to make the first move, and I'm forever thankful I did. We grabbed drinks and went outside to talk. The first thing he said was that he was a Trump supporter and I was pretty leery about a future with this man after that.. Differences aside, we talked, laughed and got to know each other over some beers. After some liquid courage, he leaned in and kissed me. Ty decided to make a first move of his own. After that night, we were inseparable. We must've contracted COVID at good ol' Bernies, because a few weeks later we both had it and quarantined together for 14 days in his camper. Two weeks straight together, cut off from the outside world, we knew we were each others' forever. #ForeverFaris
