A free admission zoo in the city, close to the lake, and surrounded by beautiful parks! We love talking walks with Ralph through this wonderful part of the city.
Lakefront Trail
If you are looking for a good walk, run, or bike ride - the Lakefront Trail is an 18.5-mi long trail along the lake. Plenty of on and off spots and beautiful views of the lake and city!
Oak Street Beach
If the weather permits - come catch some sun, go for swim, or play some volleyball while enjoying the waves of Lake Michigan with the city skyline behind you!
Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago
If you are looking for a museum we have plenty but highly recommend MSI! The captured WW2 U-Boat is worth a visit alone!
Chicago White Sox
Good guys wear black! Cubs are out of town but if you are looking to catch a game go and watch Tim's team on the South Side. The stadium can't compare to the historical landmark of Wrigley but it has far superior food with a variety of drink options and extremely affordable tickets!
The Signature Room at the 95th
Skip paying for the top of the Sears (Willis) Tower and come here instead for free! It has an equally great view of the city but with a bar and restaurant so sip a cocktail and enjoy the views!

Often ranked as of the best burgers in the country - first come first serve basis so be prepared for a wait! Lone Wolf next door or Haymarket Pub across the street is a great spot to wait for table

Girl and the Goat is one of the most popular dinner spots of Chicago from celeb chef Stephanie Izard and we agree that it lives up to its hype! Her nearby Duck Duck Goat is equally recommend by us and may be a bit easier getting a table at!
