The street Burlington is famous for...shops, restaurants, and a short walk to the lake for beautiful views! Some favorite restaurants are: Folino's Pizza, Leunig's Bistro, The Farmhouse Tap & Grill, Pizzeria Verita, August First, The Great Northern, Sherpa Kitchen, Taco Gordo, & The Daily Planet.
Such a fun town to explore- there are many cute shops, restaurants, and hiking trails. The town is easy to walk around with or without kids.
Quintessential Vermont fall lives here...an apple cider mill (try it, its delicious!!!) that sells well, cider LOL. But also has a yummy gift shop filled with food and non food items, cider donuts, and a cute beer tasting room & café. Try the Maple Horseradish mustard from the shop...it's our favorite and a staple in our home! This is a perfect stop on your drive to Stowe! The Ben & Jerry's factory is also close by, and is a yummy treat.
The short and sweet ice cream factory tour comes with ice cream at the end...Need I say more? The flavor graveyard behind the building is a definite must see if you make a stop here :)
Trying to leave with some VERMONT MAPLE SYRUP?!?!? YOU SHOULD BE!!!! This is one of two sugarhouses in the area (and Alex's favorite one!). In the spring time, you will see their broilers hard at work boiling maple sap to make syrup. In the fall, you can tour the sugar shack and see how syrup is made (this is free!). A perfect place to try and buy all the different types of maple syrup, try a maple creemee (SO GOOD!), and experience sugar on snow.
Not feeling like a full meal? They have a brewery in the back that has good beer and small bites!

$$$$ If you want to treat yourself to a fancy date night or dinner for one, go here! This restaurant probably requires reservations, but has yummy food and a really awesome atmosphere! Alex and Jen (my new sister!) ate here for Jen's birthday while Zach and Jake were deployed overseas.
THE HILLS ARE ALIVE!!!!! Yes...Von Trapp as in the sound of music!! The beer is not too shabby, the eats are cute, the lodge is beautiful, the drive is fun. Rumor has it that Maria wasn't a very nice lady.....oh well.
Looking for good breakfast or brunch?? Try here! Alex loves their Jalapeno Cheddar pancakes. So many cute shops within walking distance from here (located in Stowe)
