Since the Delamar in Southport is sold out on Friday, it is worth noting there are still rooms available for both nights at their other property, the Delamar Greenwich Harbor. This hotel is about 15 minutes from the venue.
Flight
JFK, LGA, HPN
If you’re traveling by plane to the wedding, Westchester County Airport is the closest, but may not have many direct options. LaGuardia Airport and John F. Kennedy Airport, both on Long Island, are approximately 1.5 hours from Southport (without traffic). If you plan to rent a car, budgeting extra time is recommended.
Train
Amtrak
If traveling from Boston or Washington, DC, it may be simpler to take the train. Take Amtrak to Penn Station, transfer via the subway to Grand Central, and then take Metro North local train to the Greens Farms stop (closer to the welcome cocktail on Friday) or the Stamford stop (closer to the wedding venue).
Travel Note
Getting Around in Connecticut
Uber is available in Connecticut and there will be shuttles to and from the wedding for the guests at the Delamar hotel. However, if you’re planning to stay the weekend, it may be simpler to rent a car.
