Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you will attend as soon as possible, with the last date to RSVP being on April 29. If something changes please update us here or call/text 412.303.7603 at least 11 days prior to the day.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. We wouldn’t be able to go without ours, why should you? We’re delighted to allow the kids to experience the ‘magic’ we’ve had from attending weddings when we were young.

Where is your registry?

Answer

We do not have a registry. We already have everything we need and your presence would be the cherry on top. However, should you choose to follow tradition and wish to give a gift, a wishing well will be available on the day for your thoughts and best wishes.

When should we arrive at the church?

Answer

The wedding is scheduled to start promptly at 3:00pm. There is no need to come earlier than 3pm as these things never start on time anyway.

When should we arrive at the reception?

Answer

We are planning to take photos immediately following the ceremony. Edgewood Country Club will open its doors for guests starting at 5:30pm. Valet is available, please feel free to use it. The main ballroom doors do not open until after 6pm and dinner will then be served.

Is there transportation in place from wedding to reception?

Answer

No. Unfortunately we have no formal ride service planned. However, we will make sure everyone is able to get there.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! But please make this request ahead of time for best results. Our chef will be counting meals that do not follow our chosen entrees.

Is there parking for the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

Yes! The church has a parking lot attached. If we run out of room we will have access to two much larger attached parking lots. The reception will have valet parking. The lot is huge and you may park yourself if you prefer.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We do not have transportation arranged. However, if you find yourself in need of a ride please get in touch with us by call/text 412.303.7603 We are still looking into options at this time and will update those in the Travel section. Please reach out if you would like to be included in any arrangements as a group.

Are there hotels nearby we can stay in?

Answer

Yes! There are a few very close to either the wedding or the reception, and we will also assist with finding a room if needed. Please see the page with those addresses here on the website. We are establishing a group accommodation for anyone who would like to share a rental.
