Sparkman Wharf
We've spent many dates here over the years. Take a photo at the famous "TAMPA" sign just outside of Sparkman Warf. Then grab a bite or drink at one of the many shipping containers turned restaurants and grab a seat along the waterfront. Our favorite is Gallito Taqueria.
Armature Works
Have we mentioned we like being on the water? Armature is one of our favorite places to celebrate birthdays, promotions, or just taking in the views of downtown from the rooftop bar, M.Bird. Originally built in 1910 as Tampa Electric’s streetcar warehouse, this architectural gem has been meticulously restored to preserve its industrial charm while embracing modern functionality. Inside Armature Works, you'll find an upscale food court along with standalone restaurants, bars, and shops.
Ybor City
From Cuban sandwiches to hand rolled cigars, you can see why strolling through Ybor is one of Walker's favorite ways to spend a Saturday afternoon (when Alabama isn't playing). Tampa Bay's historical and cultural roots lie in Ybor City. Climb aboard the TECO streetcar, grab a cuban sandwich at La Segunda Bakery (followed swiftly by their guava turnover), smoke a cigar at Tabanero Cigars, and grab a cocktail from Copper Shaker.
