FAQs

Our ceremony and reception will both be held at Wind in the Willows. If you have any other questions other than what we listed here, please reach out to the Maid of Honor, Paige Gruber, at (717) 330-6853 or the Best Man, Matthew Herbener, at (717) 368-4146.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than Friday, May 31st, 2024, using the RSVP tab at the top of our website. All RSVPs received after this date will be marked as declining; we will be sending a headcount to our vendors following this deadline.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Formal invitations will be received in April.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women, and a light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks for men; jackets and ties optional. Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outside in the grass so dress accordingly. Please refrain from jeans. Ladies, please refrain from wearing any white, ivory, or champagne tones.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will only be transportation provided to & from Tru Hilton Grantville to the venue. If you do not use our transportation, please make arrangements in advance to travel safely.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue does have parking on-site. You may stay parked overnight, but your car must be picked up no later than 10 AM the following day (Saturday, August 03, 2024).
