What does "desert chic" mean for a dress code?
Answer
The desert during this time of year experiences a wide temperature range in any given day. Therefore, be prepared for warm days and cool nights. Overall, we recommend light colors and breathable, lightweight fabrics (linen, silk / satin, chiffon) with layers. Bonus points for wearing desert colors (pinks, oranges, yellows, subtle greens). Women: Cocktail midi or maxi length dresses. We do not recommend short dresses as they will likely get cold at night but are welcome if you would like to risk it. Block heels or flats are highly encouraged as the ceremony and reception are outside and the ground will be uneven. Lastly we highly recommend a shawl or light jacket for the evening! Men: Light colored suits. We do not recommend black or navy blue if you can avoid it. Tie not required. Are children welcome?

The venue is not conducive to accommodating children so unfortunately - while we love our little friends - they will not be invited to the wedding.
