Leah and John first met during their senior year of college at Libby's Bar and Grill in Durham, NH. John was at UNH visiting his twin brother, Alex, and Leah was out with friends. Leah already knew Alex and his friends as they were neighbors the year prior. When John saw Leah, he reached out his hand and twirled her around the dance floor. Leah quickly fell for John's warm personality and goofy dance moves. They ended up dancing the night away and the rest is history. Our wedding date is extra special because it happens to be exactly 5 years since the day we met!

This past summer, Leah and John spent a week with Leah's family in Green Harbor, MA. John knew he would be making this vacation extra special! John planned for them to have lunch at the Mill Wharf in Scituate. After lunch, John suggested they explore the Scituate Lighthouse. He had secretly arranged for Leah's brother, Joe, to hide on the jetty waiting to capture their special moment. When Leah and John walked out onto the jetty, John got on one knee and asked Leah to marry him. There was lots of excitement and happy tears - and we're so grateful that Joe was able to capture this moment!
