We got married on July 13th, 2024 in California. It was a very intimate, family only ceremony but we cannot wait to celebrate with everyone in each of our hometowns afterwards! You are all so important to us and we hope you can make it.

We met on a beautiful July night in Crotonville, NY. We both recently started working at GE Aerospace and were sent to NY to engage in trainings. After a full day of seminars and activities, everyone headed to a Happy Hour for networking. John saw Layne sitting on the couch and he decided to sit next to her. Layne and John kept finding themselves caught up in conversation with each other as the rest of the group faded away. Anytime John said something that made Layne laugh, he would clank their glasses together and say "Cheers!" On the last evening of the trip, John asked Layne to go on a date. In Cincinnati, John took Layne on their first date to E+O, an asian fusion restaurant downtown. The conversation hasn't stopped since. When asked about meeting at a work event John loves to say, "we are just really good at networking." On Layne's engagement ring, John engraved the word "cheers" to commemorate how their story began!
