We’re Getting Married

We met at the notable HBCU known as Delaware State University. The relationship began with simple iPhone games, but as time progressed and feelings were reciprocated, our love for each other flourished. We began spending more time together, growing closer each day. Eventually, we could no longer deny our feelings and decided to make things official. When COVID struck, we had to say goodbye very abruptly as the schools shut down. However, the distance did not cause our love to fade. We weathered the storm of college together and came out as two strong college graduates still in love. Even though we made it through college, we still had to face COVID. The pandemic made it harder to see each other, but we pushed through. Eventually, we had enough money to get engaged and move in together. The rest is a blur for us as we continue our journey. It was challenging, and we faced a great deal of pushback that came in many different forms, but we still made it through. As tough as it was, we both know we would go through it all again as long as it still ended the same. Two college love birds who get to experience one of the biggest days of our lives with the people we love and cherish the most. PS. Don't be fooled; as this chapter of our life comes to a close, a brand new one has only just begun.
