Shannon Airport is about an hour drive to Galway City and about 50 minutes from Ashley Park House. Dublin Airport is about 2 hrs and 15 min to Galway City and 1 hr and 50 min from Ashley Park House. Guests traveling from Chicago, flights into Shannon Airport will likely require a connection in Philadelphia, New York or London. There are daily direct flights on United Airlines (from Chicago) that leave at 3:50 PM (arriving in Dublin at 5:10 AM) and 9:30 PM (arriving in Dublin at 11:10 AM). Let us know if you'd like to know who else is traveling into Dublin leading up to the wedding weekend to coordinate car service to Galway City! Please continue to check Covid travel requirements ahead of the trip. Currently, Ireland does not require Covid testing to enter the country. However, the US does require a negative Covid test uploaded to the VeriFly app prior to departure. We suggest downloading the VeriFly app to be guided through the US travel requirements ahead of your flight out of Ireland. Testing centers are available with appointment at Dublin Airport and in downtown Dublin. Please let us know if you need any assistance with finding a testing option.

For guests planning to travel to Ireland the weekend before our wedding, we are planning to have a room block available at this hotel from Thursday, September 9 - Monday, September 12. Note: Please call or email the hotel directly to book rooms and guarantee by credit card. The card provided for each room will be charged for the full amount no later than July 16th. This block of rooms shall be held until April 30th and any rooms not taken at that stage shall be released. Please email reservations@thegalmont.com and quote “Block Reference AYSM090922” to reserve you room. Parking is available at this hotel for 10 Euro a night. We will have transportation pick up guests from this hotel on Monday, September 12 to bring them to Ashley Park House for our rehearsal BBQ on September 12. Timing details to come.

Ashley Park House

We will host a rehearsal BBQ for all guests here on Monday, September 12 and our wedding reception here on Tuesday, September 13. Lodging here will be private to our friends and family. Guests are invited to stay at the estate for their convenience. Free parking is available onsite. Room rate is €190.00 per night. You will book your room through Ashley Lawless once you send her your RSVP.
