The Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception are conveniently located in one venue space at Hotel Californian.
Black tie optional. Rest assured we will be dressed to the nines & we encourage you to wear attire that fits a black tie dress code, but it is optional. We'd love to see tuxedos, dark suits & ties, gowns of all lengths. We can't wait to party with you in style!
As much as we love your little ones, this is an adults-only wedding (excluding the wedding party). We're excited to celebrate with you & hope you enjoy a parents night out!

We're so thankful you're making the trip to celebrate with us! We have included a few recommendations on the Travel page. Santa Barbara is a beautiful location with a great selection of hotels and Airbnb options for you to choose from.
Drinks are on us, but the hangovers are on you! We will be having an open bar, so we better see you on the dance floor!
Of course we can't predict the weather, but generally the weather in October is pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze. It's safe to expect average highs of 74°F and lows of 55°F. Keep an eye on the weather leading up to the wedding so you can be comfortable.
Our wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be held outdoors. Our Reception will be held inside the Alhambra Ballroom. Please dress accordingly (see above).
After the ceremony, guests will be invited to the Court of Califia for Cocktail Hour where hors d'oeuvre and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 7 pm, with dancing to follow.
Yes! You can choose to self-park or valet at Hotel Californian.
Yes! The venue space is ADA accessible.
We are not providing any formal transportation to the events. Our ceremony and reception are taking place in the same space. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, and Uber is a great option for those who don’t. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling option if you plan to drink.
