After experiencing the joy of a destination wedding at the Hard Rock Resort in Punta Cana, we were inspired to have our own celebration in Mexico. We were drawn to the relaxed atmosphere, where everyone could indulge in their favorite vacation activities while still enjoying quality time together. Our wish is for our cherished family and friends to join us at a spectacular resort where we can celebrate our love together. We hope that our wedding will be a highlight of your trip to Mexico, but we also want you to feel free to enjoy the resort at your own pace. There's no pressure to be with us constantly; we want you to savor your vacation and take advantage of all the amazing amenities this resort has to offer!
We want to be transparent about the cost: this trip may be more expensive than some, but we encourage you to tailor it to your preferences and budget. For your reference, the average round-trip flight from Denver to Cabo San Lucas is approximately $450. As for accommodations, the average cost per person per night is $300, with rates varying based on the number of attendees and room occupancy. The minimum number of nights for our wedding is 3 nights. Please utilize the room booking link provided under Travel to secure your rooms at the group discount.
Great question! Here’s how Jacob and I are managing it: 1. If you’re between 18-23, United offers a Young Adult Discount on flights. Additionally, if you have a credit card, use your points for flights! 2. Use Google Flights, Hopper, etc., to set up email notifications for when flight prices drop. 3. By using the booking link, you can reserve your room for $100-200 today and start saving to pay in full by June 25th, 2025. Since payment isn't due for a while, you can save and accrue interest in a high-yield savings account. Jacob and I are using Ally! 4. Laurie and Jacob (mostly Laurie) have more details on the per-person cost for the different rooms we’ve blocked. Let us know if you want more information!
