This update comes following the devastating wildfires on Maui. All our strength and love is with our home, our Maui during this time. As of now, we have no intention of cancelling our plans to Maui. Maui will always be our home and we cannot see getting married anywhere but home. Also, we still want to support the local vendors who need the money to support themselves and community. We are making sure to have the utmost respect towards Maui & her people at the forefront of planning process. Maui still has a lot to offer, but we understand if you are hesitant to travel to Maui. We still hope to celebrate with everyone this new chapter in our lives!
To fill out that question just put the # of people in your immediate family not included already in the RSVP or their names. Example: You and your partner have 2 kids. Your RSVP already accounts for you, your partner, and one child. This means you'll need an additional RSVP (Unless you're planning on leaving one home --thats up to you ;)). In the answer box please put +1 to account for your other child (under 21 y.o.) who will be attending. You will be able to go back and edit their name once we add an extra count. Any adult children (+21) who will be attending will need to fill out their own separate RSVP form. If you happen to have too many accounted for RSVPs, please indicate in the form "not attending" for those extra RSVPs. Please RSVP by December 1, 2023
Nope! Its the week before ;)
You should be able to edit your responses if plans change! However, please keep in mind that no answer IS an answer. If we don't see an RSVP leading up to the event then we will move forward assuming that you cannot make it to the event coming up. Please do reach out should you have any questions!
In general, anytime you book a flight, you should do it as soon as you are sure you are able to make the trip! This also includes ensuring you have lodging. Our celebration on Maui is in February. Luckily, this is not during peak traveling/wedding season so the prices aren't too expensive. However, please keep in mind that the weather is a little more wet this time of year and so its best to come at least a few days in advance in case of flight changes. On the bright side, whether in rain or shine, Maui is always beautiful.
Yes. Ride share apps can be unreliable and expensive on Maui. To avoid all of that, it would be best to rent a car to get around the island on your own time :)
We've decided to have an intimate wedding with our close family who were formally invited. The date is our 9th anniversary-- Thursday, February 1st, 2024. Thank you for understanding!
We've created a home away from home in Las Vegas. We are very fortunate to be able to travel to Hawaii more frequently than most people are able to go in their entire lifetime. We are truly humbled by those who live in the mainland to make the trip to Maui, and are excited to celebrate with you whether it is your first time there or 100th. However, as much as we would love to be everyone's excuse for a well deserved vacation... :) we realize that life happens and that not everyone can easily plan to go to Hawaii! So, we are trying to plan a celebration in Las Vegas, especially for those who cannot make it to Maui! We don't have all the details yet, but will update this website as soon as we can. Please indicate on the Maui Celebration RSVP form whether or not you would like to be included in these updates.
Sure! An update for the LV event will be sent as soon as possible. In the RSVP form for the main celebration in Maui,HI, please indicate that you want to be included on the LV celebration.
