How and when should I RSVP?
Answer
We ask that everyone RSVP's through this website. You can scan the QR code on the invitation or simply go to the RSVP tab on the website. Please RSVP by August 17th, 2024.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Whilst we love little ones, due to the restrictions of our venue, we kindly request a child-free wedding.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one.

After party?
Answer
We will be having an after party! There is a firepit designated to our venue space, so once the reception is over, we encourage everyone to change into their comfy clothes and join us for a fire! There will be drinks, smores, and more...

What is the timeline for the day?

Our ceremony will begin at 4pm. The rest of the day's events will follow.

Do we have a gift registry?
Answer
Yes, we do have a few gifts on our registry through Zola. As many of you know, we have been living together for 5 years, so we have already accumulated many of the things that make our home. That being said, there are not many items we are asking for. Instead, we are requesting that anyone who would like to give a gift, contribute to our house or honeymoon funds. These can also be found under the registry section of this website.

Are there lodging options?

Yes, you are free to book a room right on site at the Tailwater. www.tailwaterlodge.com Click Book Now (upper right corner) Edit Arrival/Departure dates (valid September 20-22, 2024) Number of rooms/guests Click Special Rates button Group Code: SCGI Click Update The Group Rate of $319/$329 per night will appear for reservations. Guests must reserve the room with a credit card. A card will be authorized upon arrival for the full amount, plus incidentals and will not get charged until day of departure. All rooms must be booked by AUGUST 21, 2024 to receive the discounted rate. Guests can also call the hotel direct at (315) 298-3434 and give the agent the Group Code (SCGI). Guest check-in is 3:00pm and guest check-out is 11:00am. Hotel Amenities: Restaurant and lounge, indoor pool, large outdoor hot tub, full-service spa, various indoor and outdoor games, hiking trail and fitness center! Are the ceremony and reception located at the same place?
Answer
Yes, the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue. Once the ceremony is over, you will be guided to a cocktail hour and the Tailwater staff will be working to transform the ceremony space to a reception space.

What should I wear?
Answer
September can be unpredictable in New York. Our celebration will take place outside, so please dress accordingly. There is no specific formal dress code so wear whatever makes you feel your best!

Do I have to provide a food choice?
Answer
No, you will not need to provide us with a specific food selection. The meal will be served as buffet stations. You will be able to select from many (very tasty) options.

What if I have a dietary requirement?

If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know. The Tailwater is happy to provide alternative meal options so everyone can enjoy themselves and not worry!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present. Our amazing photographer will be capturing all the highlights and we are happy to share the photos afterwards.
