We're getting married!

In 2012, Lauren & Maxx were both were attending school at Towson University. Lauren had just gotten a job at the restaurant, Atwater's, and Maxx had been working there for about a month when they met. We were introduced by our boss that first day and it's safe to say.....we did not immediately become the best of friends. However, as we continued working together for the next 2 years, our friendship (filled with lots of sarcasm and banter) finally blossomed. By this time, Maxx had already graduated and Lauren was about to do the same. One night in June of 2014, Lauren was going out with her friend Brenna while Maxx was spending time with his best friend Max aka "single X" and the 2 pair of friends met at the Greene Turtle in Towson for some drinks and dancing. After this night out, the 2 began texting and hanging out more often. Only a couple weeks after our night out, some of the crew at Atwater's headed out to attend Firefly Music Festival together in Delaware while Lauren also went with her friend Marissa. It was there that Lauren & Maxx's relationship really began. They spent the weekend watching some of their favorite bands like The Lumineers and Jack Johnson. In July of 2016, Maxx started his graduate program for school at Baylor School of Medicine and he and Lauren made the move together to Houston, TX where they lived for a year (yeehaw!). Maxx started on with his residencies and relocating all across the country in 2017-2018 while Lauren decided to move somewhere more permanent, San Diego CA. Maxx lucked out on a 3 month residency in San Diego so he made the 3,000 mile drive from Orlando, FL to San Diego CA on March 31st, 2018. The day after his arrival, on April 1st (April Fool's Day), Maxx asked Lauren to go see the sunset with him at Sunset Cliffs. It was here that Maxx & Lauren went out on the cliffs (very close to the edge I might add) and he proposed. We hope to top that day with you all on November 7th, 2020!
