Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes, however if you are interested in childcare for a reasonable rate, please reach out to the bride or groom (to give us a headcount). We are exploring an option to have experienced babysitters on-site in the bridal house. More details are currently pending as we receive inquiries. If you are bringing your child to the reception, please indicate on your RSVP how many children and if they need a kid's meal or would not require food.

Dress Code on the Wedding Day?
Answer
Dress Code is Semi-formal. The wedding party will be in formal wedding attire, but it’s optional for all guests. Men: a classic suit or tux including a tie. Women: midi or floor-length dresses, or evening pantsuits. Floral and bright colors are an encouraged choice. Bridesmaids are wearing variations of blue if you are concerned, however wear whatever color you wish! Tip: Just make sure the fabrics you wear are light and breathable as Texas even at on the last day of August will be unforgiving.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

It is Labor Day weekend and opening weekend for UT football, so please take this into consideration when finding lodging in the city, flights, or car rentals. There is an abundance of Lyft or Uber if you don't want to rent a car.

Parking
Answer
We have plenty of onsite parking at the church and venue, but if you plan on drinking we highly recommend considering carpooling or ride-shares such as Uber or Lyft when attending the reception.

Climate & Terrain

The Addison Grove is located on a beautiful 26-acre property in the Texas Hill Country. There are multiple outdoor gathering areas, furnished with cooling fans, along with a climate-controlled indoor venue. Please check the weather in 78736 for the most accurate forecast. Although most walkways are paved, with some areas of gravel, consider block heels, flats, boots, and wedges for comfort if you are the type to walk through the grass to explore the property. Additionally, the venue does have handicap parking spaces, along with drop-off, directly in front.

Can I bring a date?

Due to our current guest list we are very limited on space, so extra guests cannot not be accommodated unless indicated on your formal invite. However, we sincerely hope that you can still be present at this important event in our lives.
