Man of Honor
Garrett is Kelsey's little brother and best friend. Garrett and Kelsey grew up causing mischief and mayhem throughout the streets of Gilbert, AZ. Being able to go to high school together brought the two even closer. From doing sports together to having eyes for the same girl, they proved to be two peas in a pod. Kelsey and Garrett are excited to start their lives with each of their spouses and be able to share life all together. Sarah (Garrett's wife) has already become a huge part of Kelsey and Lauren's lives and they consider her family. Kelsey is forever grateful for being able to trust Garrett to be there for her no matter what. He has proven and continuously proves to be Kelsey's best friend. Kelsey couldn't have asked for a better partner in crime.
Maid of Honor
Stephanie is Lauren's older little sister. Lauren surpassed Stephanie's height fairly early on for being 5 years younger but that didn't stop Stephanie from being a role model, a sometimes 3rd parent, a best friend and amazing big sister. In college when Lauren struggled with homesickness they talked every single day no matter how busy Stephanie was with her new career and life in New York. She's always been there in the hard times and also to celebrate the good times. While Stephanie was not exactly an athlete or sports aficionado, she still attended countless track meets and softball games shamelessly cheering, "Keep your eye on the bat Lauren!!". There's no better sister possible for Lauren and even living 700 miles away they text almost every day and always manage to make each other laugh and enjoy life. Lauren knows she hit the jackpot having her as a sister and would do absolutely anything for her.
Bridesmaid
Lisa and Kelsey met at BYU I do where they both were able to graduate without the Mrs. degree. They were placed in the same room together even after Lisa's best efforts to switch rooms with other roommates. Lisa and Kelsey bonded over the love for their dogs and a few secret beers. Lisa was the rock that pushed Kelsey to finish her degree and gave her the aspirations to be a police officer. Lisa is the epitome of the saying "No F**ks Given" and Kelsey learned a lot about not caring what people thought from Lisa. Even though Lisa stayed in Idaho Kelsey and Lisa have stayed close swapping horror stories about their careers.
Bridesmaid
Lauren met Kathleen on a beautiful fall day when Lauren was 9 months old and Kathleen was 7 months old. They hit it off immediately, laughing and crying as infants do. From that point on they were inseparable. From playing on the same sports teams to walking and biking around Montara and going to the "candy store" (spoiler alert, it was a gas station) to fleeing from park rangers when their dads got caught picking muscle's without fishing licenses and Lauren's dad told them to "RUN", these girls had endless fun growing up together. And even 30 years later their friendship is as strong as ever. She is family and has helped shape Lauren into the person she is. It's a relationship that she will never take for granted.
Bridesmaid
Kelsey and Jaq were bound to be friends, their future partners formed a close bond that inevitably brought Kelsey and Jaq together. Kelsey and Jaq quickly realized that they had a lot in common. They share the love of hard work, especially when it's outdoors. Jaq being in the process of opening her business "Chubbies" Kelsey has helped Jaq with yard work and home renovations. Kelsey and Jaq enjoy letting the ladies talk for hours while doing some sort of project they sent them to do. Kelsey is lucky to be able to have a friend like Jaq to take on ride alongs and to be able to tell her all the kick ass stories that happen in the city. Jaq has been an amazing friend to Kelsey and she can always count on her to be there for any help... including a wedding. Kelsey couldn't have asked for a better person to stand up there with her on her special day.
Bridesmaid
While Lauren has been lucky to have numerous amazing friends in her life, Lauren came into Lauren's life when she really needed a friend. They bonded watching RuPaul's Drag race, eating endless sandwiches and talking about life and growth and each of their wonderful partners. While seemingly having not much in common and it being quite inconvenient to have the same name, Lauren and Lauren have formed a friendship that will no doubt last a lifetime. Much to Jaq and Kelsey's dismay, Lauren and Lauren have the superpower of literally never running out of things to talk about. Lauren is so grateful for Lauren and vice versa too of course. They never fail to have a blast together, mostly while Lauren talks in accents and Lauren fails miserably at talking in accents. Lauren has been such a positive friend in her life which came at a time when Lauren nearly gave up on having close friends in Salt Lake City. She frequently 3rd wheels with Jaq and Lauren while Kelsey saves the city and it's actually more strange if she isn't around as the last wheel to the tricycle. Lauren loves Lauren as a person and is grateful to have her as a close friend for life.
Officiant
Lauren met Sam in 2019 while attending a coding bootcamp in Utah. Because both were from out of state they were given housing for the 3 month course. Much to Sam's dismay, a month after she begin the course they added a roommate to her single bedroom/bathroom apartment in Provo, Utah. That roommate was Lauren, who gladly invaded Sam's space and made her show her the ropes and share her friends in class. Lauren introduced Kelsey to Sam when Sam and a couple friends decided to start a kickball team on a recreational league. Sam strongly declared to said friends that she knew 2 tall athletic lesbians that could help the team win the league. Which *spoiler alert* THEY DID. The fact that they were in the lowest championship pool of the lowest level league does not matter. We won. Ironically, this kickball team was also where Kelsey and Lauren met Jaq and Lauren who are also in the wedding party. Sam is a part of Kelsey and Lauren's lives forever and when it came to picking an officiant it was one of the easiest decisions when planning the wedding.
