Josh and Lauren met in the summer of 2015 at a summer camp in Colorado called LVR. At the camp they were both counselors and became quick friends. They both returned to work at camp the following summer and on July 30, 2016 they began dating! As the years went by their love grew stronger. Lauren moved to Illinois to start her teaching job, while Josh continued to go to school at SIUE. In the summers they would travel out to Colorado to explore and volunteer at the camp where they met. On July 20, 2019 Josh and Lauren took a trip with 2 of their close friends to Colorado to hike the 14er Mount Bierstadt. When they arrived at the top, Josh got romantic and spoke to Lauren of the love that they shared. After his speech, he got down on one knee and at 14,065 feet, Lauren said yes to forever! We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can't wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people!
