Our venue with wonderful views and even more phenomenal wine! Only a few hours away from our home in Augusta, and with some of Josh's family living in the area, it is safe to say we have traveled to the North Georgia mountains on a fair number of occasions. There has never been a visit where time has not been carved out for Crane Creek Vineyards. We have made memories over glasses of Hellbender on the patio and forged plans over sips of Sassafras overlooking the setting sun, and we can't wait to share our favorite home away from home with you!

Owned by a fourth generation farmer, Reece's Cider is some of the most delicious hard cider you will ever taste!
Buck Bald Brewing
Great local brewery with fantastic beer and a fun, casual atmosphere. If the brews get your appetite going, Buckbald shares a building with Smoky Mountain BBQ Company (get the tacos, trust us!).
Rare Bird Emporium
This eclectic gift shop and coffee house is one of our favorite places to visit in Murphy. You will most likely find us there every single day we are in town!
Brasstown Bald
Located within the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests, the Brasstown Bald Recreation Area & Visitor Center is the highest point in Georgia, rising 4,784 feet above sea level and just a short drive from Blairsville, Hiawassee, and Helen.
Preacher's Rock
Two-mile hike that is part of the Appalachian Trail with absolutely stunning views. Great bucket-list hike for a weekend (or mid-week) getaway!
Nantahala Gorge
Eight-mile river gorge named by the Cherokee for its vast depths that see sunlight for only short periods of the day (Nantahala means "land of the noon-day sun"). Check out the Nantahala Outdoor Center for gear, souvenirs, or to take advantage of countless outdoor activities like whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip-lining, or even hiking a stretch of the Appalachian Trail.
