Wander Pearl Street and visit unique shops and restaurants. Don’t miss the musicians, jugglers, magicians and other buskers sharing their talents for tips.
Visit historic Chautauqua Park which is celebrating its 125th year in 2023. See the beautiful Boulder Flatiron vista, stop for ice cream at the General Store or have a bite to eat at the Dining Hall.
There are lots of trails that are easy to access. The best access points are at Mt. Sanitas (off Mapleton Ave), Chautauqua Park or at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) with ample parking.
Within walking distance from both the Marriott & Residence Inn is an area called 29th Street Mall. There are several fast casual restaurants there including Modern Market, Moto Maki, Chipotle, Panera, etc. One of Boulder’s favorite breakfast restaurants shares the same parking lot with the hotels – The Buff. Le Peep is also in the same shopping center. Another great breakfast spot is Snooze, which is on Pearl Street. There are many great restaurants in the Perl Street area. Mexican restaurants such as the Rio Gr&e, Bar Taco, & Centro; farm to table restaurants such as The Kitchen or Oak; seafood & sushi restaurants like Jax Fish House, Japango & Hapa; brew pubs & bars including Bohemian Biergarten, The Post (hormone free fried chicken) or West End Tavern; & many other options. Avanti or Rosetta Food Halls are good options if your group has varied tastes. For more dining options, visit: https://boulderdowntown.com/dining
