When do I need to book my hotel room by?

Answer

Please note the deadline to book a room from the wedding block is October 2nd.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to share our special day with as many people as possible, but due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones that are not indicated on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, please note our wedding reception will be an adult-only affair.

We ask that you RSVP on our website by October 1st.

What is the timeline of events for the wedding day?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin at 5PM, followed by a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. A detailed timeline can be found on the "Schedule" section of our website.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. For men, a suit with a shirt and tie. For women a floor-length dress, cocktail dress, or a pantsuit. Lastly, please remember the ceremony is going to take place on grass.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot adjacent to the Shenandoah Clubhouse. The Lodge also has a valet service that they offer.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

There will not be a formal shuttle service for the wedding. However, Turning Stone offers a complimentary shuttle service at all times of the day if you would like one. You will need to request a shuttle from the reception desk.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Depending on the weather, the ceremony will be held outside. Meanwhile, the cocktail hour will be inside and outside. Lastly, the reception will be held inside the Shenandoah Clubhouse.

Is there a backup plan in case of inclement weather?

Answer

Yes, we have a contingency plan in place. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to inside the Shenandoah Clubhouse. Rest assured, we will make every effort to ensure the celebration goes on smoothly.
