For those staying longer (and we hope you do!), there is plenty to do in the area including Elephant sanctuaries, hiking, an old town, any water sport you can think of (scuba diving, snorkeling, SUP, surf...) and island hopping! Or just a relaxing day on the island. 

We do suggest when booking your hotel, to see if water sports or activities are included. This could save some cost in the long run if this is something you are planning to do, and many hotels offer free activities on site.
