Why are you getting married in TN/AR?

Answer

Chris's family has graciously allowed us to use family land/property for our wedding. With COVID-19 precautions in mind, we thought it would be nice to have a venue that allows for flexibility and creativity in planning as well as social distancing and enough outdoor space to decrease spread and to keep our family and friends safe. We are blessed and grateful to be a part of and to share the beautiful, black history that is the foundation of this space!

What procedures are in place at the venue in regards to COVID-19

Answer

Please note that COVID-19 Guidelines are subject to change. Please see the following: 1. To keep guests safe, at this time ALL guests will be required to wear masks during Wedding Ceremony regardless of vaccination status. Guests will be required to wear masks during the Wedding Ceremony regardless of vaccination status. We strongly encourage unvaccinated guests to wear a mask at all wedding events. 2. Wedding and Reception will take place outdoors to allow for social distancing and decreased spread. 3. Social distancing bracelets will be available for all guests to wear indicating level of comfort. 4. We are making plans to decrease contact/spread regarding food and drink service and seating arrangements. 5. We prefer and recommend that guests are vaccinated for the health and safety of all of our guests.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Semi-formal: Cocktail Dress or tailored jumpsuit, suit jacket or blazer and tie, seasonally appropriate colors, chic flats or heels, classic dress shoes. Note that both ceremony and reception are outdoors - bring comfortable shoes as desired.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

All transportation will be guest responsibility. With this in mind, please plan ahead in regards to transportation. Because of where the wedding is located, it would be best to have transportation organized whether it be rental cars or carpool prior to arrival.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Ceremony - kids are welcome Reception - as much as we LOVE your kids, we want our wedding reception to be your night off!! With the exception of the children in the wedding party, this is a child free event.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invite has specified how many people each invite is for. We will have seating, food and bar for only the number of guests that are listed on the invitation.
