What is the current COVID protocol?

Answer

At this time, we are respectfully asking that all guests come vaccinated. If you are eligible and not yet vaccinated, we would love to celebrate with you at another time. The JW resort's COVID protocol may change over these next few months leading up to the wedding. Please check back closer to the event to see what else might be required.

Do I need to re-book my hotel reservation due to the postponement?

Answer

If you booked your stay using points, you will need to cancel your reservation and re-book. Otherwise, the JW has automatically cancelled your 2020 hotel reservation and moved it to the applicable 2021 dates.

What if the room block is sold out for the nights I want to stay?

Answer

Please contact Cheryle or Lauren (and not the Marriott directly) for help with the room block.

What dates are Brian and Lauren staying at the JWDR resort?

Thursday, November 4th through Sunday morning, November 7th

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Semi-Formal / Cocktail Attire (Suits, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits...)

Are kids invited?

Answer

While the wedding ceremony and reception are adults-only affairs, kids are absolutely allowed at the JWDR resort (in fact, the resort has a lazy river, water-slide, and a kids splash pad). We adore your children and encourage you to bring them along for the vacation, and arrange for a sitter on Saturday night. If you need help arranging a sitter, please feel free to reach out to Lauren for some referrals.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

All wedding events are taking place on the JWDR property. Walk outside of your hotel room, and enjoy!
