Yes, but don't stress about it. Think of an elevated garden party, one where you wear cocktail attire that you're comfortable dancing in. (Read: Suits and ties for men, dresses or other formal wear for women). Colors are welcome. Keep in mind the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, so check the weather and dress appropriately.
Please arrive at 5:00 PM. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 PM.
When you make your reservation please coordinate with the hotel about early check in. If they cannot accommodate you when you make the reservation, call the day before or day of check-in to request early check-in and mention our wedding block.
Bartram's Garden is about a 20-minute (closer to 30-minute during rush hour) drive from Old City, which is where our two reserved hotel blocks are located. A shuttle will be provided for guests at those hotels, but it is also easy to take a rideshare (Uber/Lyft) as well. The shuttle busses will leave at the Hotel Monaco at 4:30 pm on Saturday. It will then make a stop at the Wyndham. If you plan to take the shuttle please arrive early to secure your spot.
Yes! There is a large valet lot at Bartram's Garden that is a short walk to where the ceremony and reception will be taking place. Golf carts will also be available if needed to ferry people back and forth. Staff at Bartram's will be on hand before the ceremony to help park the cars.
